Many of our leadership activities are delivered with Albert King, a Singapore-based leadership coach and action learning facilitator with 20+ years running programs for corporations and young professionals across Asia and beyond.
Meet Albert King
Based in Singapore, Albert King is a global leadership coach, action learning facilitator and for over 20 years, delivering programs to corporations and global young professional groups on teamwork, leadership, communications and goal setting.
His message has touched communities spanning Sri Lanka to Nepal, Indonesia to Turkey. Albert has amassed over 30 years of finance and business experience with positions held in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Southeast Asia.
Albert has built a reputation for his ability to conceptualise, create and support novel programs, including outdoor and adventure themes. A volunteer with Make-A-Wish Foundation and Habitat for Humanity, he was the recipient of the Rotary Club of Singapore “The Good Samaritan” Award. An avid nature lover, he has scaled Mount Everest Base Camp four times, including most recently in 2024.
Asian Family Services Award
New Zealand Chinese Association (NZCA) was honoured to receive the Youth Award at the Asian Family Services (AFS) Flourishing Asian Communities & Workforce Symposium in March.
This recognition belongs to the young leaders, volunteers, and community who continue to champion wellbeing, identity, and belonging for Chinese youth.
We’re really proud of this achievement as it is a true testament to the hard work that goes into making our conferences a reality. Our young leaders, volunteers, and alumni continue to show what culturally grounded leadership can look like in Aotearoa.
